In week 39, Salmon Evolution Norway AS will undergo an ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) and GLOBALG.A.P. audit at our Indre Harøy facility. The audit is carried out by DNV as an independent third party.

About ASC

ASC is an international environmental standard for salmon production. It sets strict requirements for environmental impact, social responsibility and animal welfare. Certification is voluntary and verified by an independent third party, and as a producer we must document that our production meets the standard’s requirements for sustainable operation.

About GLOBAL G.A.P.

GLOBALG.A.P. supports producers and retailers in producing and selling safe food while building a sustainable future. The standard covers food safety, environmental protection, working conditions and animal welfare.

Land-based production gives us a high degree of control over water quality, fish welfare and environmental footprint, and regular independent assessment is how we demonstrate that the control is real and maintained over time.
